The Town has begun an update to the South Hampton Natural
Hazard Mitigation Plan and welcomes resident feedback on how natural hazards
such as flooding, winter storms, and extreme temperatures are impacting the
community. FEMA requires every municipality in the country to have a plan for
mitigating natural hazard events. Town department heads and board and
commission members are working with the Rockingham Planning Commission to
update the 2016 Hazard Mitigation Plan. You can view draft of the updated plan below.
